Published on : 2025-04-27

Hypontech, a global leader in solar inverter and energy storage solutions, is proud to announce its participation in Intersolar Europe 2025, the world’s leading exhibition for the solar industry. Held in Munich, Germany, this premier event serves as the ideal platform for Hypontech to unveil its solar solutions and next-generation high-voltage hybrid inverters: the HHT 5-12K PRO and HHT 15-30K. Designed for both residential and commercial markets, these new inverters deliver unparalleled performance, system flexibility, and intelligent control features.

Driving Innovation in Solar + Storage

As hybrid energy systems become more sophisticated, demands on inverter performance have increased. Hypontech’s HHT Series has been engineered to meet and exceed those expectations. These inverters are not only technically advanced but are designed with real-world applications in mind—offering scalable configurations, unbalanced three-phase load support, extensive battery compatibility, and comprehensive system integration options including EV charging, heat pump control, and generator interfacing.

2x PV Oversizing—Not Just for Sunny Days

The HHT 5-12K PRO is designed with a highly efficient PV input system. It features two MPPTs, with one string per MPPT. Each PV string can handle a maximum input current of 20A, with a maximum short circuit current of 30A. This allows for a stable and reliable power collection from the solar panels.

The HHT 15-30K offers an even more advanced PV input configuration. It has three MPPTs, with two strings per MPPT. Each PV string can handle a maximum input current of 18A and a maximum short circuit current of 25A. In total, the maximum MPPT input current is 36A, and the maximum MPPT short circuit current is 50A.

Moreover, these two kind of inverters can be configured with up to 2 times the rated power of photovoltaic module input power, providing users with greater flexibility in system design.

Power Through Anything: Reliable Backup for Uninterrupted Energy

The new HHT Series hybrid inverters are designed with robust backup power functionality, ensuring uninterrupted energy supply during grid outages or emergencies. With a peak output capability of twice the rated power for up to 10 seconds, the inverters can handle sudden surges from high-demand appliances or critical loads. The backup function seamlessly transitions between grid and battery power, providing a reliable solution for homes and businesses.

Additionally, the inverters support unbalanced three-phase loads, making them highly versatile for various applications. Whether powering essential systems like lighting, refrigeration, or medical equipment, the HHT Series guarantees operational continuity when you need it most.

Both of these two inverters support up to 3 units in parallel (in a master-slave configuration), allowing for a maximum system power of 36kW/90kW. This parallel operation capability is beneficial for large-scale solar installations where higher power outputs are required.

Battery Brilliance: Powering Storage with Precision

In terms of battery operations, the HHT 5-12K PRO and HHT 15-30K are designed to deliver exceptional battery performance, featuring a maximum charge/discharge current of 40A (HHT 5-12K PRO) / 50A (HHT 15-30K). This high current capacity ensures rapid charging and discharging, which is crucial for larger energy storage applications. With a wide battery voltage range, HHT series supports seamless integration with various battery types commonly used in solar energy storage systems.

Whether it's storing surplus solar energy during off-peak hours or discharging it during peak demand, the HHT series enables users to capitalize on time-of-use tariffs and demand response programs, unlocking greater savings and revenue potential. Its superior speed and efficiency make it a powerful solution for both residential and commercial systems.

Fireproof Your Energy: Safety First with AFCI Technology

Safety is a top priority for the HHT Series, which comes equipped with AFCI technology. This cutting-edge feature detects dangerous arc faults caused by damaged wires, loose connections, or insulation issues, and automatically interrupts the circuit to prevent potential fire hazards. The AFCI system continuously monitors for irregularities in the electrical current and responds within milliseconds, ensuring the safety of both the equipment and the surrounding property.

Energy at Your Fingertips: 24/7 Monitoring with Hypon.Cloud

The HHT Series inverters are equipped with advanced connectivity features that allow for 24/7 remote monitoring and management through the Hypon.Cloud. This intelligent system empowers users and installers to track real-time performance metrics, energy production, consumption patterns, and battery status from anywhere in the world. With a user-friendly interface accessible via web or mobile app, the platform provides detailed insights into system health and alerts users of any irregularities.

Additionally, the Hypon.Cloud supports remote firmware updates and troubleshooting, reducing maintenance time and ensuring that the system operates at peak efficiency. Whether you're a homeowner or managing a commercial-scale installation, Hypon.Cloud ensures effortless energy management at your fingertips.

One Inverter, Endless Possibilities: Home, EV, and Heat Pump Integration

The HHT 5-12K PRO and HHT 15-30K support an external charging pile, enabling the charging of electric vehicles. They can control an external heat pump, integrating well with energy-efficient heating and cooling systems. Equipped with a generator interface, both of these two inverters can connect to a generator output and control the generator's start-stop function.

Furthermore, it has the unique ability to use the inverter to power the BMS and wake up the battery. All BMS communication ports, parallel communication cables, and meter interfaces are of the RJ45, which simplifies installation and maintenance, reducing the time and effort required for system setup.
