The prestigious Red Dot Design Award — widely regarded as the “Oscars of the design world” — has officially announced its 2025 winners. Among thousands of submissions from over 60 countries, HYPONTECH's HMS microinverter has been honored with the Red Dot Product Design Award, recognizing its outstanding innovation, sophisticated design, and contribution to sustainable technology.

Redefining the Value of the Rooftop


Breaking away from the structural compromises often associated with traditional photovoltaic systems, HYPONTECH introduces a new approach to solar integration. The compact HMS microinverter, weighing only 1.8 kg, is discreetly mounted on the back of solar panels. This “invisible generation” concept enables seamless architectural integration, redefining the standards for building-integrated photovoltaics and enhancing the aesthetic appeal of rooftops.

Built with die-cast integration and rated IP67 for water and dust resistance, the HMS series is designed to withstand harsh environmental conditions and ensure long-term stable performance. Its modular design supports automatic fault isolation, maintaining high system efficiency of up to 96.5%. Coupled with HYPONTECH’s intelligent energy management platform, users can monitor real-time power generation of each solar tile via mobile devices, achieving smarter and more precise energy control.


Quantifying Green Value Through Digital Innovation


The HMS series supports a wide power range from 350W to 2000W, making it suitable for a variety of application scenarios.The HMS 500W model requires just 10 square meters of rooftop space to generate approximately 2,400 kWh of electricity annually — enough to reduce a typical household’s electricity cost by up to 70%. This translates to a carbon emission reduction of 1.2 tons per year, equivalent to the annual carbon absorption of around 1,080 mature pine trees.
